Ukraine midfield player Sergiy Zakarlyuka has rejoined old club FC Metalurh Donetsk from FC Illychivets Mariupil.
Zakarlyuka scored 12 league goals for Illichivets last term, and has registered 58 times overall since the beginning of his career in 1996. He also has nine caps for his country. Metalurh coach Olexander Sevidov said: "Sergiy initiated the move. Knowing his intention to return to our club, we quickly solved all the issues with Illichivets."
Metalurh have been active in the transfer market in recent weeks. Georgian international midfield player Levan Tskitishvili and Romania midfield player Marian Aliuta have arrived, while Andrés Mendoza has been loaned to Olympique de Marseille and Yaya Touré sold to Olympiacos CFP.
