Celta use the force of George Lucas

Brazilian wing-back George Lucas has joined RC Celta de Vigo following a successful trial, signing a one-year contract with an option for three more with the Galician club.

Pre-season trip
The 22-year-old, who holds a European passport, arrives from Brazilian side Grêmio FPA having spent the 2005 South American season on loan at Clube Atlético Mineiro. He will link up with his new team-mates for pre-season training in France after passing a medical today. George Lucas is Celta's second summer signing after winger Antonio Guayre from Villarreal CF. Celta qualified for the first round of the UEFA Cup courtesy of their sixth-place finish in the Primera División.
