Ujfaluši a worry for Fiorentina

Czech Republic defender Tomáš Ujfaluši risks missing ACF Fiorentina's final Group C game against FK Mladá Boleslav after damaging knee ligaments.

Defensive concerns
The 29-year-old has been ruled out for two weeks after picking up the injury during Sunday's 2-0 Serie A defeat against FC Internazionale Milano. He played all 90 minutes of the game but a scan afterwards revealed the extent of his problem. With Per Krøldrup already out with a calf injury, Cesare Prandelli is short of options in defence. Signed from Hamburger SV in the summer of 2004, Ujfaluši has played in eight Serie A games and four in the UEFA Cup this season. Fiorentina have five points after three Group C fixtures ahead of their final game at home against Czech contenders Mladá Boleslav on 20 December.
