Belgian titleholders R. Standard de Liège have signed goalkeeper Sinan Bolat from Eerste Klasse rivals KRC Genk.

Long contract
The 20-year-old has committed his future to Standard until June 2013, leaving Genk where he would have been out of contract in the summer. He will compete for the No1 slot with Rorys Aragon Espinoza and Jérémy Devriendt. The newcomer had made five top-flight appearances for Genk over the last three seasons, including three starts. Standard, who won their UEFA Cup group to reach the Round of 32, lie second in the league table, four points behind RSC Anderlecht.
