The UEFA Europa League does not resume until 26 November, but plenty of the competition's stars have other things on their mind this week.
The UEFA EURO 2016 play-offs run from Thursday to next Tuesday, 17 November, and seven of the eight contenders – all but the Republic of Ireland – are drawing players from the 48 UEFA Europa League group stage contenders; 34 players from 21 clubs in all.
Rosenborg have the biggest contingent (four players); the most represented national team is Norway, ten of whose players are in UEFA Europa League squads.
