Eight swap Champions League for Europa League

Teams transferring to the UEFA Europa League having finished third in their group: Beşiktaş, København, Legia, Ludogorets, Lyon, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Rostov and Tottenham.

Former UEFA Cup winners Borussia Mönchengladbach and Tottenham Hotspur are two of the eight teams transferring to the UEFA Europa League round of 32 after finishing third in their UEFA Champions League groups. Sevilla will be vacating their title after three successive triumphs having come second ahead of Lyon to qualify for the UEFA Champions League round of 16.

Unseeded: Rostov (RUS, 5), Borussia Mönchengladbach (GER, 5), Legia Warszawa (POL, 4), Ludogorets Razgrad (BUL, 3)

In the round of 32, the four third-place finishers with the best records in the UEFA Champions League group stage will be seeded along with the 12 UEFA Europa League group winners. The remaining four third-placed UEFA Champions League sides are unseeded together with the 12 UEFA Europa League group runners-up. No team can play a club from their own country; any other restrictions will be confirmed before the draw.

The round of 32 draw takes place on Monday and will be streamed live in UEFA.com's DrawCentre from 13:00CET.
