S.S. Lazio have signed Brazilian attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson from Santos FC on a five-year contract.

The 20-year-old, who has reportedly cost the Rome club around €8m, made 61 league appearances for Brazilian heavyweights Santos, scoring seven goals as well as featuring in their triumphant 2011 Copa Libertadores squad.

Felipe Anderson came through the ranks at Coritiba FC where he played from 2007 to 2010. He has represented his country at youth level but is yet to make his senior international debut.

Having won the Coppa Italia last term, Lazio will begin their UEFA Europa League campaign in the group stage, the draw for which takes place on 30 August in Monaco.
