Sochaux struck by Oruma blow

FC Sochaux-Montbéliard midfielder Wilson Oruma will miss both matches against Olympiacos CFP through injury.

Surgery needed
The 28-year-old Nigerian sustained meniscus damage to his right knee playing against AJ Auxerre in January, and although he subsequently returned to training, he suffered a relapse yesterday and must undergo surgery tomorrow.

Month's absence
The recovery date has been set at four weeks meaning the former RC Lens player will sit out both matches against Olympiacos, on 17 and 24 February. Oruma has been a mainstay of Sochaux's UEFA Cup campaign, scoring against Stabæk IF in the first round and starting four of their six European games in a season interrupted by injury.
