'Big step forward'
Two days after completing the transfer of Croatian striker Boško Balaban, Victor signed a two-and-a-half year deal today. "After only half a season at GBA this is a big step forward," said the 22-year-old, whose full name is Victor Simões de Oliveira.
Eligible for Europe
Victor, who played for CR Flamengo and Tombense EC in his home country, will be eligible for the UEFA Cup, where Brugge will face Hungary's Debreceni VSC in the third round.
