Paris Saint-Germain FC will look to keep a fine run of clean sheets going against Sevilla FC, with both sides knowing that a Group J draw at the Parc des Princes could nudge them through to the UEFA Europa League last 32.

• Any winner in Paris would be sure of progressing, while both sides can go through with a draw providing Borussia Dortmund fail to beat FC Karpaty Lviv in the section's other game.

• Prior to Matchday 1, three meetings with LOSC Lille Métropole represented the entirety of Sevilla's experience of French opposition. Their record against Ligue 1 sides now reads W1 D0 L3 (W0 D0 L2 in France). Both of those away defeats ended with 1-0 scorelines.

Match background

• Gregorio Manzano replaced Antonio Álvarez as Sevilla coach in the lead-up to the Matchday 2 win at Dortmund. A head coach since his mid-20s, he first took charge of a top division game with Real Valladolid CF in 1999/2000. He won the 2002/03 Spanish Cup in his first spell with RCD Mallorca and rejoined the club in 2006 for a four-year stint that ended with his departure in May 2010.
