Forward Mateja Kežman has left Paris Saint-Germain FC by mutual consent after the two parties struck a deal to end his contract.
A club statement read: "Paris Saint-Germain and Mateja Kežman have agreed to terminate the player's contract. The club would like to thank Mateja for his professionalism during his time with PSG and wish him success in the remainder of his career."
The 31-year-old former Serbian international joined PSG in the summer of 2008 from Fenerbahçe SK, but scored a meagre total of five goals in 35 Ligue 1 games for the Parisian side and spent time on loan at FC Zenit St. Petersburg last season.
The ex-FK Partizan, PSV Eindhoven, Chelsea FC and Club Atlético de Madrid striker had managed just two substitute appearances for PSG this term – one in Ligue 1 and the other in the 2-0 UEFA Europa League win against FC Karpaty Lviv.
Another former international, 32-year-old midfielder Jérôme Rothen, was released by PSG last month having been omitted from their senior squad at the beginning of the season. He played 139 top-flight games for the Parc des Princes outfit.
PSG top UEFA Europa League Group J with seven points ahead of Thursday's home match against Borussia Dortmund.
