Europa League Truck Tour on the move again

The UEFA Europa League Truck Tour hits the road again today, helping to bring the spirit of the competition to venues across Europe while giving fans the chance to win prizes.

Throughout the group stage, the UEFA Europa League Truck Tour, organised by UEFA together with adidas, helped bring the spirit of the competition to venues across Europe, and the travelling extravaganza will be on manoeuvres again in the knockout phase.

Over the course of the autumn, the UEFA Europa League truck braved rain and snow to visit a different venue every matchday: Vienna, Manchester, Alkmaar, Trondheim, Bern and Leverkusen. Over 5,000 fans came to share in the fun, with the truck featuring a travelling memorabilia exhibition and a range of exciting activities.

In video game corner, fans had the chance to contest the night's UEFA Europa League matches, while the Grab Your Ticket competition put contestants inside a booth as jets of air blew tickets around them: those who successfully grabbed the ticket marked 'prize' won an official match ball and a replica team shirt from the home side. Among the other prizes were UEFA Respect shirts and caps, and UEFA Europa League souvenirs.

The truck's attractions also included a giant UEFA Europa League ball display – a popular spot for photos; a special webcam where fans could send e-postcards from inside the exhibition; and the thrilling adidas 'Speed Parcour' – an obstacle course which allowed visitors to compare their fitness with what would be expected of professional players, with further prizes up for grabs.

The UEFA Europa League Truck Tour will hit the road again in the round of 32 – starting at SL Benfica v VfB Stuttgart tonight, and AFC Ajax v RSC Anderlecht for the second legs next Thursday, 24 February – so be sure to visit if it comes to your club.
