GNK Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Said Husejinović faces an estimated six months on the sidelines after suffering a knee ligament injury during Saturday's Croatian First League match against RNK Split.

Husejinović left the field just 15 minutes into Dinamo's 1-0 away defeat and medical tests subsequently confirmed the extent of the ligament damage. "The MRI test showed the rupture of the front knee ligament and he will need surgery," club doctor Ivica Smodek confirmed. "For this kind of injury, the recovery period is somewhere around six months."

The 25-year-old Bosnian international only joined Dinamo in January from FK Sarajevo but Branko Ivankovic's team will definitely be without him for the rest of their UEFA Europa League Group B campaign. They host PSV Eindhoven on Thursday looking to bounce back from defeats by FC Chornomorets Odesa and PFC Ludogorets Razgrad.
