Dave van den Bergh has signed a three-year extension to his contract at FC Utrecht.
The 28-year-old, whose contract was due to expire this summer, has put pen to paper on a new and improved contract which runs until the summer of 2007. "Dave is a very good player, and a left winger with the best passing skills in the Netherlands," said Utrecht coach and technical manager Foeke Booy.
"So we are very glad he wants to stay here, having been here for four years already." Van den Bergh scored the only goal in the Dutch Cup final against FC Twente to send Utrecht into this season's UEFA Cup.
