Brøndby IF have landed Danish international striker Morten Skoubo from VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The ex-FC Midtjylland and West Bromwich Albion FC forward, 24, has signed a four-year contract. A former Under-21 international, he won his only full cap in June 2003 in a UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifying win in Luxembourg.
Coach Michael Laudrup said: "It is a relief that we have managed to sign a dangerous striker like Morten, who can play in all three positions up front. It is no secret that we have been suffering from the lack of a top striker in an otherwise strong squad."
UEFA Cup tie
Brøndby drew the first leg of their UEFA Cup second qualifying round tie with FK Ventspils 0-0 in Latvia last night. The home return is on 26 August.
