Keeping the dream alive

Three teams have already secured places in the last 32 and another four could join them tonight.

In place to progress
Feyenoord can guarantee their progress if they beat FC Schalke 04, one of the sides to have qualified on Matchday 3, at De Kuip, while Ferencvárosi TC face FC Basel 1893 in the other Group A match.

Steaua's last chance
Leaders FC Steaua Bucuresti will go through if they win their final Group B fixture at Athletic Club Bilbao. A draw will suffice for Walter Zenga's side if there is a winner in the section's other match, between Besiktas JK and R. Standard de Liège.

Sporting meet Sochaux
Sporting Clube de Portugal and FC Sochaux-Montbéliard meet at the Estádio José Alvalade - venue for the final in May - knowing that both could qualify from Group D given the right results in their match and the fixture between Panionios NFC and FC Dinamo Tbilisi.

Threat of elimination
Second-placed Sporting need only a point to join Newcastle United FC in the next round and if they do draw and Panionios lose, then both they and Sochaux go through. Panionios, who are fourth, must match Sochaux's result to stay alive in the competition, while it will take a Dinamo win and Sochaux defeat for the Georgians to avoid elimination.

Live coverage
FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, the third side already sure of continuing in the competition after Christmas, visit Real Zaragoza in Group C, while FK Austria Wien play Club Brugge KV. uefa.com will provide live coverage of all eight matches tonight and the eight Matchday 4 fixtures in Groups E-H will follow tomorrow.
