First division club Újpesti TE have parted company with Slovakian manager László Molnár.
Molnár left Újpest by mutual agreement on Friday despite leading the club to the first round of the UEFA Cup with a 3-2 aggregate win against KÍ Klasvík of the Faroe Islands and earning a two-legged tie with Paris Saint-Germain FC.
No licence to coach
Molnár, who began his brief spell in charge midway through this year, did not have the required UEFA A-licence - or work permit - to perform his duties, the club said.
Szabó takes over
Former assistant manager András Szabó will take Molnár's place and has been signed until 2004, the club said. Újpest lie fifth in the 12-team Hungarian first division with seven points from five games.
