Duo miss Marseille matches

KFC Germinal Beerschot Antwerpen will be deprived of two regular players through injury when they tackle Olympique de Marseille in the UEFA Cup.

First win
Midfielder Mohamed Messoudi and forward Prince Asubonteng both sustained injuries as Germinal Beerschot recorded their first win of the Belgian season against KAA Gent on Saturday. Messoudi, 21, has broken a bone in his foot, ruling him out for six weeks, while 19-year-old Asubonteng stretched knee ligaments and faces three weeks out.
