Tunisia midfielder Haikel Gmamdia will sit out both legs of RC Strasbourg's UEFA Cup Round of 32 tie against PFC Litex Lovech after dislocating his shoulder.

Tunisia midfield player Haikel Gmamdia will sit out both legs of RC Strasbourg's UEFA Cup Round of 32 tie against PFC Litex Lovech after dislocating his shoulder during a Ligue 1 match on Saturday.

Awkward fall
Playing his first game since Tunisia's elimination from the African Cup of Nations, the 24-year-old fell awkwardly towards the end of the 2-2 draw with AC Ajaccio, having only been brought on in the 70th minute. Gmamdia will be sidelined until early March, ruling him out of Wednesday's trip to Bulgaria and the return in France the following Thursday.

Duo return
Goalkeeper Stéphane Cassard, out for a month with a fractured cheekbone, will undergo surgery on Tuesday, although coach Jacky Duguépéroux has welcomed back attacking duo Salim Arrache and Kevin Gameiro after injury.
