FC Steaua Bucuresti forward Victoras Iacob will miss both legs of the UEFA Cup quarter-final against AFC Rapid Bucuresti after breaking his shoulder.
The 25-year-old, who has scored eight goals in European competition this season, has been ruled out for at least a month after being injured in the 61st minute of the 0-0 draw against local rivals FC National 2000 Bucuresti on Sunday, and may need surgery to effect a full recovery.
Iacob is also unlikely to be able to play for Cosmin Olaroiu's side in the event that they progress to the semi-finals. Meanwhile, 24-year-old midfielder Sorin Paraschiv may miss the first leg against Rapid after undergoing minor surgery on his ear following the game against National.
