Cup triumph
The 25-year-old moved to Espanyol a year ago from RCD Mallorca, and went on to score ten goals in 36 league appearances. He also struck twice in the Copa del Rey final as Espanyol beat Real Zaragoza 4-1 to earn a place in the 2006/07 UEFA Cup. They will enter the European competition in September's first round. Luis García began his career with Real Madrid CF but made his breakthrough with Real Murcia CF in 2003/04, registering eleven goals in 38 matches.
