US Città di Palermo have signed striker Fabrizio Miccoli from Juventus for a reported €4.3m while selling fellow forward David Di Michele to Torino FC for an undisclosed fee.

Back from Benfica
Miccoli, 28, had just returned to Juventus after two seasons on loan with SL Benfica, but now moves on to the Sicilian club after agreeing a three-year contract. Palermo acquire a player with ten Italy caps and the experience of spells with Ternana Calcio, AC Perugia, Juventus and ACF Fiorentina. Leaving the Stadio Renzo Barbera for a fresh challenge with Torino is the 31-year-old Di Michele, who scored 16 goals in 48 Serie A games during 18 months at Palermo. Capped six times by his country, the striker has also played for Udinese Calcio, Reggina Calcio and Salernitana Sport.
