Sevilla FC have signed 29-year-old Argentinian midfielder Aldo Duscher from Real Racing Club Santander for an undisclosed fee.

Three-year deal
The former CA Newell's Old Boys trainee has agreed a three-year contract with the Andalusian side, who finished fifth in Spain last season to qualify for a place in the UEFA Cup first round as they attempt to win the trophy for the third time in four years. Duscher, capped three times by Argentina, scored five goals in 34 league games for Racing last season as they finished one place behind his new club.

Deportivo pedigree
The 2007/08 season was his only campaign with the Santander side, with Duscher having been at RC Deportivo La Coruña from 2000 to 2007, making 157 league appearances, winning the Copa del Rey in 2001/02 and playing in the UEFA Champions League. He first came to Europe in 1998 to spend two seasons with Sporting Clube de Portugal.
