Young Boys v Dynamo Kyiv background

Despite being held at home by Young Boys on matchday three, Dynamo Kyiv travel to Switzerland for the reverse fixture knowing a win will take them through.

Dynamo Kyiv visit the Swiss capital knowing that victory over Young Boys will ensure qualification to the knockout phase from UEFA Europa League Group B with two games to spare.

• The Ukrainian club were held 2-2 at home by their visitors from Berne on matchday three. The result maintained Dynamo's four-point lead at the top of the table following wins in their opening two fixtures.

• Young Boys twice took the lead on matchday three, through in-form Ivory Coast striker Roger Assalé, only to be pegged back each time by equalisers from Dieumerci Mbokani and Mykola Morozyuk.

• The teams will be meeting for the fourth time this season, having already faced each other in this summer's UEFA Champions League third qualifying round. Young Boys won the tie on away goals, eclipsing a 3-1 defeat in Kyiv with a 2-0 home victory.

The coaches
• Hired as coach in July 2017, Aleksandr Khatskevich won seven league titles as a Dynamo player from 1996–2004, and later worked with the club's youth and reserve teams. Capped 38 times at international level, he coached his native Belarus from 2014–16.

• Austrian coach Adi Hütter has been in charge of Young Boys since September 2015. A midfielder who spent the bulk of his career with Salzburg, he returned to lead the club to a domestic double in 2014/15 after managerial spells at Altach and Grödig.
