København will confirm progress with victory at Lokomotiv Moskva, but the Russian club are just a point behind in Group F and in need of the win themselves.

København will hope to preserve a flawless record in the Russian capital as they take on Lokomotiv Moskva in a pivotal UEFA Europa League Group F encounter.

An away win would send the Danish club through to the round of 32. It would also eliminate Lokomotiv if Sheriff, level on six points at the top of the group standings with København, take three points from the other group match at home to bottom side Zlín.

Previous meetings
• The two clubs played out a goalless draw on matchday one in Copenhagen.

• In coach Ståle Solbakken's first spell in charge of the club, København beat Rinat Bilyaletdinov's Lokomotiv 1-0 in a 2007/08 UEFA Cup group stage game in Moscow, Morten Nordstrand's penalty proving decisive.

• Lokomotiv have won five of their seven matches against Danish sides, the only exceptions being those two games against København.

• København have lost just one of their six games against Russian teams (W3 D2 L1) and have a perfect record in Moscow, having also defeated FC Moskva 2-1 there in the first round of the 2008/09 UEFA Cup.

The coaches

• Ståle Solbakken's second coaching tenure at København began in 2013. He has won seven Danish titles with FCK, five of those having come in his first spell from 2006–11. The former Norway midfielder has also been in charge of Köln and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
