Sporting Clube de Paris and hosts FK EP Chrudim were the two winners as Group 1 kicked off the UEFA Futsal Cup main round. The top two in each group go on to the elite round, with matches in Chrudim, Czech Republic, continuing tomorrow.

Group 1
Sporting Club de Paris 6-3 KMF Zelezarec Skopje
• Sporting had to work hard to recover having fallen two down to a pair of fine counterattacks, and the Macedonian champions defended stoutly. Even when Paris were 4-3 up, Marko Novaković almost levelled from his own half, after which the French champions finally made it safe, Roninho getting his second in the dying minutes.

FK EP Chrudim 3-2 FC Stalitsa Minsk
• Preliminary round qualifiers Stalitsa came close to an upset, leading early on. Chrudim went 2-1 up but Dmitry Polyakov in goal kept Stalitsa in it and then, with a flying keeper deployed, the Belarusians levelled with five minutes to go through captain Alexandr Chernik – only for Matěj Slováček to immediately add his second for Chrudim. Toni then made several vital saves to secure the points.

Starting on Wednesday: Group 5
