Prepping and packing
Already started planning your trip to the UEFA Nations League Finals? 🤩 You’re well on your way to having an incredible time in the Netherlands! But just in case, we’ve prepared our expert tips to ensure you’ve got everything ready before you set off. ⬇️
There will be a total of four matches across two venues so plan your travel in advance – especially if you’ll be visiting both venues (which we highly recommend). That way you’ll have enough time to explore each city without worrying about last-minute logistics.
Our dedicated travel page can help you get started.
Rotterdam and Enschede offer great connections to the stadium using public transport and we highly recommend making use of the train, tram or metro in each of host cities to arrive efficiently and avoid traffic delays.
Event-specific shuttle buses will also be running on matchdays. More detailed information on the preferred routes to each stadium will be available closer to the matches.
Due to high traffic on matchday, avoid driving if you can. If you do, however, you must pre-book your parking spot. If you’re a regular at one of the two stadiums, keep in mind the parking procedure may be different from what you’re used to.
For general advice on travel between the host cities, check out our dedicated page.
Get in the Finals spirit, meet fellow fans and enjoy the pre-match activations happening in Rotterdam and Enschede. The Fan Meeting Points will kick off early on matchday and be open to everyone so there’s plenty of reason to start your journey to the stadium early.
Our Enschede and Rotterdam pages will have all the details so check back again closer to the Finals.
All tickets will be mobile tickets, so install the dedicated UEFA Mobile Ticket app on your phone and download your ticket(s) before you set off to the Netherlands. Our ticketing team will send you all the details by email.
You’ll need your mobile match ticket and be sure to bring you passport, ID or driving license. Please make sure it’s the original rather than a copy.
For a stress-free experience, ensure your phone is fully charged for your match ticket when arriving at the stadium. You can also bring a small power bank, no larger than your mobile phone, if you need it.
Packing light is key. If you’re headed directly to the stadium, make sure all your items fit into a bag no bigger than A4 size.
Check the list and make sure you haven’t accidentally packed any of the items mentioned. This includes professional cameras, umbrellas and your own food and drink.
