The international ticket sales phase for the 2014 UEFA Super Cup at Cardiff City Stadium – between Real Madrid CF and Sevilla FC – on Tuesday 12 August begins today for international football fans.
The UEFA Super Cup ticket portal opened at 12.00CET on Thursday 5 June when tickets go went sale to the international public – exclusively via UEFA.com.
Applicants will be able to apply for a maximum of four tickets per person (in the same price category) during a three-week period running from Thursday 5 June until Friday 27 June. Each applicant has to complete an online application form, and allocation will be decided by lottery.
Once the sales window is closed, every valid application will enter a ballot, irrespective of time of submission within the application period, to determine which fans are allocated tickets for the Cardiff showpiece. Any ticket order that is not in accordance with the 2014 UEFA Super Cup ticketing Terms and Conditions will be rejected.
Tickets come in three price categories
Category 1: £110
Category 2: £75
Category 3: £40
An administrative fee will be charged per successful ticket order as follows:
Ticket orders within UK: £10
Ticket orders outside UK: £20
Payment is by credit card only and applicants will be informed by Monday 7 July if they have been successful or not in the lottery. Tickets will then be dispatched by registered post no later than the end of July.
Orders can also be put in for wheelchair tickets, with each £40 wheelchair ticket including one free seat for an accompanying person (please check the UEFA Super Cup ticketing section for further information).
