Scotland made a stylish start in their bid to reach the finals of the UEFA European Under-17 Championship with a resounding 3-0 victory against Azerbaijan.
Two goals
Aberdeen FC forward Andrew Bagshaw was on target twice for Ross Mathie's side in Kusadasi, opening the scoring on the stroke of half-time and adding a second 15 minutes into the second half. Rangers FC's Alan Lowing scored a third late on, while Azerbaijan ended the match with ten men.
Turkish test
Scotland next face Group 6 hosts Turkey – 1-0 winners against holders France in today's other game – on Thursday, while Azerbaijan meet the French the same day.
