Turkey clinched a place in the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in Italy in May after defeating Azerbaijan 3-0 at the Kusadasi Özer Türk stadium.

Abdullah Avci's side topped Group 6 in the Elite round with a maximum nine points after winning all three of their matches, following up victories over France and Scotland with another impressive performance in Kusadasi on Saturday.
Three goals
Aydin Yilmaz opened the scoring against Azerbaijan with a header, before Bayer 04 Leverkusen forward Tevfik Köse scored for the third time in two matches, doubling the lead after a one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Caner Erkin converted a cross to make it 3-0.
'Confidence high'
“We want to be the European champions," Turkey forward Umut Salginoglu said afterwards. "We'll do our best to achieve that. Our confidence is high and all the players feel the team spirit.”
Scotland out
Scotland miss out on a place in the finals after finishing second on goal difference with three points from France and Azerbaijan.
