Second-half comeback
Having had a bye to the Elite round, France and the Czech Republic are in Group 3 in Turkey along with the holders and Denmark. Lukas Vacha struck after just five minutes to give the Czechs the lead, and it took France until the 55th minute to level through David N'Gog. Adel Taarabt gave Luc Rabat's side the advantage nine minutes later and Dominique Malonga converted a penalty late on to complete a fine win.
