Aleksić again
Wins against Slovakia and the Czech Republic had put the Elite round Group 4 hosts in control of the section, three points clear at the top. Sweden, who had recovered from losing 6-0 to the Czech Republic to beat Slovakia on Friday, knew a victory could close the gap and just before half-time, Alexander Kacaniklic put them in front. However, Danijel Aleksić equalised after the break – becoming the only man to reach five goals in the Elite round this season – so Serbia proceed to Thursday's final-tournament draw in Antalya, Turkey.
