The match schedule for next month's UEFA European Under-17 Championship in Malta has been confirmed.
The final tournament kicks off on Friday 9 May, when the Netherlands take on Turkey – in a repeat of the 2005 final – in the first game of the competition. Also at the National Stadium in Ta'Qali in Group A on that day, the hosts take on England, while in Gozo Germany play neighbours Switzerland and Scotland face Portugal.
Matches continue on 12 May with a Group A double-header in Gozo and two Group B games at Hibernians Stadium, Paola. Three days after that, on Thursday 15 May, the last group fixtures are played simultaneously at 11.00 and 18.00 in Ta'Qali and Paola, also as double-headers.
The top two from each section go into the semi-finals at 17.45 and 20.45 on 18 May at the National Stadium. The winners face the runners-up from the opposite pool, the order determined after the groups are completed. The final, also in Ta'Qali, is at 19.00 on Wednesday 21 May. All 15 fixtures will be screened live on either Eurosport International or Eurosport 2.
