UEFA European Under-17 Championship hosts Turkey will open this summer's tournament with a replay of the 2005 final against the Netherlands after the draw was made in Antalya today.

Champions together
Turkey won 2-0 on that occasion in Pontedera, Italy, and will hope to repeat the trick against the Dutch with Group A fixtures against Scotland and Serbia to follow. Also in the draw – made by Turkey's senior coach Fatih Terim and Jim Boyce, first vice-chairman of the UEFA Youth and Amateur Football Committee – holders Spain were placed in Group B alongside two former champions in Switzerland and France plus first-time qualifiers the Republic of Ireland. Spain will meet those sides in that same order. The fixture schedule will be confirmed in the next week, but group games will be played on 4, 7 and 10 May, with the semi-finals on 13 May and the final on 16 May.
