"We made mistakes in our first game against Ukraine but we learned from them and we played on an upward curve after that. I was very satisfied with what I saw on the pitch and with the players’ attitude. We came through a tough quarter-final against Belgium and after the first half and Spain’s missed penalty, I thought we would win the semi-final too. But we lost our grip on the game and failed to score the second goal that would have settled the issue."
