"It’s football and anything can happen. We performed at a level that wasn’t reflected by our results. We have to learn from our mistakes and take positives from the experience. I always tell the lads that things like this can turn around, no doubt about it. In football, you never know if it will be in the next game or later. But the important message to transmit was that both in life and in football, if you work hard you will ultimately be rewarded."
• 1-4-3-3 with Njegoš Petrović as single controlling midfielder
• Passing game with short or medium combinations in midfield
• Good use of long diagonals from right to left; hard-working wingers
• High defensive line with goalkeeper up to cover behind back four
• Well-organised, disciplined 1-4-1-4-1 defending; quick counters
• Full-backs prepared to push forward; occasional use of high pressing
• Will-to-win, commitment, and mental strength when behind in each game
