Slobodan Pavkovic has been named as the new Yugoslavia Under-19 coach where he will replace Mile Tomic who has moved up to assistant to national coach Dejan Savicevic.
‘Very promising’
The 53-year-old Pavkovic had been coach of FK Vojvodina until a month ago when he resigned because of disagreements with the club's board. "I am at an age when I want to work with younger generations," Pavkovic said, "and I have gained control of a very promising generation of Yugoslavian footballers."
