Greece coach Nikolaos Nioplias has shown faith in the side that earned a place at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship by selecting a largely unchanged squad for the finals.

Pliatsikas return
Nioplias announced the 18-man party soon after taking them through their paces in Greece's last practice session in Athens before leaving for Austria on Wednesday. The only real change sees AEK Athens FC midfielder Vassilios Pliatsikas link up with the squad after missing qualifying through injury, while Elini Dimoutsos is also included following his transfer from minnows AO Ilysiakos to Panathinaikos FC. Greece face Portugal in their opening encounter on 16 July, before further group games against the hosts and defending champions Spain.
