Veljko Paunović

"We did our best to defend the title. We gave our all and played till the very end – which is what it takes to be a national team player in Serbia. We represented our country in the best light, on and off the pitch. The World Cup was our primary objective because it's a historic first. But, more importantly, the players showed that they are on the right path towards the senior team. In terms of furthering their careers, this was a great experience for all of them."
