Belgium pay penalty in Greece

Three penalties gave Greece a 3-2 win over Belgium in their Under-21 friendly in Pirgos.

Greece will hold the psychological upper hand against Belgium when they meet in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship finals after a 3-2 friendly win between the sides in Pirgos.

Three penalties
Unusually, all of Greece's goals came from penalties, allowing them to come back from Jonas de Roeck's third-minute opener. Dimitrios Papadopoulos turned the score around with spot-kicks in the fifth and 14th minutes. Georgios Dimitri Kyriazis struck the third in the 77th minute before Gonzague van Dooren secured a consolation for Belgium.

May meeting
The two teams meet for real in the Swiss-hosted finals in Group B on 16 May, ahead of matches against France and the Czech Republic. Their senior compatriots take each other on in a full friendly tomorrow night in Patra.
