Coach Miroslav Beránek has called up six other players with at least one 'A' cap: goalkeeper Petr Cech and defenders Zdenek Grygera and Tomáš Hübschman from AC Sparta Praha, FC Brno midfield player Jan Polák, and strikers Milan Baros (Liverpool FC) and Stepán Vachousek (SK Slavia Praha).
Overseas contingent
In addition to Baros and Rosický, goalkeeper Jaroslav Drobný is also based overseas with Panionios GS, defender Martin Jiránek is at Reggina Calcio, while captain Václav Drobný is set to join RC Strasbourg. Missing from the party are 1. FC Nürnberg's David Jarolím and Jirí Kaufmann of Hannover 96, both through injury.
