The BV Borussia Dortmund playmaker, expected to be one of the stars of the tournament which begins in Switzerland tomorrow, has pulled out because of fatigue. He had originally been expected to join the Czechs in time for their third group game. However, after a busy season for Dortmund, in which he helped them win the 1. Bundesliga title in Germany and reach the UEFA Cup final, Rosický has asked to be excused completely from the finals.
