Switzerland plays host to the European stars of the future this May as the final round of the 2002 UEFA European Under-21 Championship takes place.
Proven performers The competition showcases hopefuls in the final stage of their international apprenticeship, but also features players who have performed at senior level for their countries already, players who have starred in the UEFA Champions League and others who regularly grace Europe's top leagues. uefa.com features eight such stars of the future.
