World Cup trio in Ukraine squad

Three players going to the FIFA World Cup are named in Oleksiy Mykhailychenko's 22-man squad for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Portugal.

Ukraine coach Oleksiy Mykhailychenko has named a 22-man squad for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship which includes three players also selected in Oleg Blokhin's party for next month's FIFA World Cup finals in Germany.

World Cup call-ups
FC Vorskla Poltava goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov is picked alongside FC Shakhtar Donetsk defender Dmytro Chygrynskyy and FC Dynamo Kyiv striker Artem Milevskiy with all three players set to join up with the full squad after playing in Portugal. Meanwhile, another goalkeeper included in the World Cup list, Bohdan Shust, is not risked in the U21. The one surprise addition is left-sided midfielder Serhiy Pylypchuk, the FC Spartak Nalchik starlet being the only foreign-based nomination.
