Rosi coming up for Italy

AS Roma winger Aleandro Rosi has been named in the Italy Under-21 squad for the first time for the Azzurrini's qualifying play-off against Spain.

AS Roma winger Aleandro Rosi has been named in the Italy Under-21 squad for the first time for the Azzurrini's UEFA European Under-21 Championship play-off against Spain on 6 and 10 October.

Splendid week
Rosi is included in Pierluigi Casiraghi's 22-man squad after scoring his first Serie A goal last Sunday in Roma's 4-0 win against Parma FC. He will be joined by Juventus forward Raffaele Palladino, who returns after a long absence with an ankle injury. ACF Fiorentina striker Giampaolo Pazzini is still out with a thigh injury while Parma midfield pair Luca Cigarini and Daniele Dessena make the cut after their brilliant performances in the UEFA Cup first-round win against FC Rubin Kazan.
