Italians and Czechs to get friendly

UEFA European Under-21 Championship finalists Italy and the Czech Republic will have an early chance to get acquainted before next month's finals draw in Arnhem after agreeing to meet in a friendly in Frosinone on 14 November.

Both teams have an impressive recent pedigree at this level, the Azzurrini having won five of the last eight titles and the Czechs emerging triumphant in 2002. Italy reached the group stage in Portugal this summer and have since appointed Pierluigi Casiraghi as coach after parting company with Claudio Gentile. AC Sparta Praha midfielder Luboš Hušek will miss the friendly with a broken arm.
