The Netherlands will get the UEFA European Under-21 Championship under way on Sunday 10 June with a match against Israel, after the schedule was confirmed following the eight-team draw in Arnhem.
Heerenveen opener
That match will take place in Heerenveen, the same day as Portugal meet Belgium in the other Group A fixture in Groningen, the venue for the final on 23 June. Group B gets under way the following day, when the Czech Republic face England (Arnhem) and Serbia square off against Italy (Nijmegen).
Knockout stages
The top two from each section will progress to the semi-finals, to be played at the Gelredome and Abe Lenstra stadiums on 20 June, with a place in the final at the Euroborg in Groningen three days later the reward. Should England reach the last four there will also be a play-off between the third-placed sides to decide places for 2008 Olympic Games on 21 June.
