Referees chosen for U21 finals

UEFA has announced the six referees selected to officiate at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship finals which take place in the Netherlands in June.

Respected sextet
The six match officials are among the most promising in Europe and boast an array of experience ranging from UEFA U16 Championship level to FIFA World Cup and UEFA EURO qualifying matches. The selection includes Knut Kircher of Germany, who has just completed his sixth season as a Bundesliga referee. The 38-year-old father of three has held a FIFA refereeing licence since 2004 and is one of his country's most respected officials. The other men in the middle at the tournament, which runs from 10-23 June, are Frenchman Stéphane Lannoy, Hungary's Zsolt Szabó, Damir Skomina of Slovenia, Robert Malek from Poland, and Scotsman Craig Thomson.
