Bolton role
The former Rangers FC, Manchester United FC and Everton FC assistant coach is stepping down to take up a position on the staff at Bolton Wanderers FC. He will work as a coaching coordinator for the English Premier League side and the Scottish Football Association will have to move swiftly to fill his vacancy ahead of their first qualifier against Finland on 8 September. They also face Denmark at East End Park four days later.
