Latvia 2-4 Sweden
Three goals in the last six minutes in Riga earned 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Championship hosts Sweden a 4-2 friendly win against Latvia.
Quick turnaround
The home side had made a bright start but could do little to prevent Robert Persson's opener for Sweden, a terrific effort from 30 metres after 21 minutes. However, Latvia were back on terms within seven minutes when Aleksandrs Solovjovs finished off an Ivans Lukjanovs cross. Artjoms Rudnevs made it 2-1 after the break but Latvia came apart in the closing straight – Sebastian Castro-Tello striking twice in quick succession to put Sweden ahead before Ola Toivonen rounded off the scoring.
